New 2020 Holiday Music and Theater Performances

A Virtual Christmas Carol!

Ebenezer Scrooge is a miserly old man who has lost all joy in his life (except for money) and now is led on a journey overnight to see again what he has been missing.  This online retelling of this holiday classic is sure to be “virtually” hilarious! Available to stream starting December 11th.  Watch the S.P.A. Facebook page for details!

Thank You to Our Generous Supporters!

The Monroe Arts Council’s programs and operations are funded in part through grants from the following organizations.  The funding received in 2020 has made it possible not only to “keep the lights on” during the Covid-19 closures, but to continue our forward progress on projects such as the work on the Wagner Performing Arts Center.  We are grateful for the support these organizations have provided to the MAC and to countless other deserving organizations.  Would you like to help?  Donate here

Congratulations to our 2020 scholarship recipients, Brynja Kirby and Lauren Larson!

Each year, the M.A.C. works with the Monroe Public Schools Foundation to offer financial support for graduating seniors who have expressed an intention to pursue higher education and careers in the arts. This year’s recipients will be studying film production and graphic design. We wish Brynja and Lauren every success in their chosen fields!
