Into the Woods is a musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine that reimagines classic fairy tales, exploring what happens when familiar characters' paths intertwine and the consequences of their wishes and actions unfold. The musical follows a baker and his wife, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (from "Jack and the Beanstalk"), and others as they embark on a journey into the woods to fulfill their wishes and undo a curse.
