An eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts sets about restoring an old race car from a scrap heap with the help of his children, Jeremy and Jemima. They soon discover the car has magical properties, including the ability to float and take flight!

Writer in a Window
Main Street Books, 110 East Main Street, Suite 100 in downtown Monroe, will host the first Writer in a Window event on Small Business Saturday, November 25. From 10am until 6pm, author Denise Ohio and friends will take turns sitting in the front window of Monroe’s favorite local bookstore as they work on their fiction, nonfiction, and poetry projects.

Campers will learn acting, singing, and creative movement, and get hands-on with art projects as they help design, build, and paint the sets and props. Robin Hood
Coming in spring 2023, this new (and slightly silly!) adaptation of Robin Hood is a fun and fast-moving musical version of the famous legend. Adapted for young audiences by Monroe’s own playwright P. Haines-Ainsworth, with music by Terence Alaric-Levitt.
