Boeing Boeing

  • Wagner Performing Arts Center 639 West Main Street Monroe, WA 98272 USA (map)

It’s the 1960’s, and American playboy Bernard Lawrence is an architect based in Paris. He lives with his fiancée, TWA airline stewardess Gloria—and Lufthansa stewardess Gretchen—and Alitalia stewardess Gabriella. However, none of the women know about the other two, and this is exactly the way Bernard has designed it. What could possibly go wrong??

But Bernard's life hits turbulence when complications such as a visiting friend, weather, and a new, speedier Boeing jet disrupt his careful planning. Soon, all three stewardesses are in the city simultaneously and catastrophe looms.

Boeing-Boeing is a farce written by the French playwright Marc Camoletti. The English-language adaptation, translated by Beverley Cross, was first staged in London at the Apollo Theatre in 1962 and transferred to the Duchess Theatre in 1965, running for seven years.
